Strong Nature® Melatonin 1 mg is a dietary supplement created with the aim to help individuals who suffer from insomnia, wake up during the night, or do not get enough sleep, by making it easier to fall asleep and improving overall sleep quality.

Melatonin contributes to:

  • Reducing the time needed to fall asleep. A beneficial effect is achieved by taking 1 mg of melatonin right before sleep.
  • Alleviating the subjective feelings associated with time zone changes when traveling by plane. A beneficial effect is achieved with a minimum intake of 0.5 mg of melatonin right before sleep on the first day of travel and the following few days after arriving at the destination.


Melatonin contributes to shortening the time required to fall asleep and alleviates the subjective discomfort associated with time zone changes.
Melatonin is a hormone present in humans, animals, and certain plants. It is produced by the pineal gland (an endocrine gland located in the brain) during the night. The melatonin level in the blood varies throughout the day and reaches its highest concentration at night. Melatonin is responsible for rest and healthy, quality sleep.
Melatonin is very important for regulating the sleep-wake cycle. It improves the quality of sleep necessary for optimal body function and positively affects the regulation of the day-night rhythm. It shows antioxidant properties, easily passes through the blood-brain barrier, and participates in protecting neurons from the harmful effects of free radicals. One of the reasons for poor sleep and difficulty falling asleep is the lack of normal and expected melatonin secretion.
